Nice Haul, wish I had some hair to Grease ... You may like this site http://www.thegreaseshop.com/servlet/StoreFront
haha, no. there's so much selection out there I stuck with Lucky 13 to start as I'm also slightly addicted to their brand in general; clothes, accessories etc ..
Yes they have good service, I have purchased some aftershaves from them and shipping time to Canada was excellent!
A hell of a nice Haul! I nearly fainted when Madame called me this morning on my cell phone and told me that I received these creams: 1x Spatia shaving cream tube (the blue one) 1x Lider Classic shaving cream tube 1x Lider Active shaving cream tube 1x Wars shaving cream tube 1x Godrej Deluxe shaving cream tube 1x Lavanda shaving cream tube (the older version)
Dusty, first, nice haul. As for what blade to start with, put one of each in a paper bag, shake 'em up, close your eyes, reach in and grab one. Then be sure to tell us what it was and how it went!
Got in TSD Abercombie & Fitch Woods Type cologne and TSD Yin Yang AS milk today. As with all TSD-made stuff, fantastico! Thanks JoAnna!
First of all...sorry for the terrible photos, my room has some awful lighting! This is the Feather gear my brother sent me. We have a Feather injector with 2 packs of Feather injector blades (the blades are awful), 2 disposable feather DEs where the blade is encased in the plastic head and there is a little white handle to screw in, then the Feather 1200 DE razor. It works pretty good! If nothing else it is a good collectors piece. Yesterday I had to go to the Italian centre to get my next haul of fresh cheeses. I ended up getting a tub of Proraso green too. For $5 I could justify the purchase. I was going to use it this morning, but I slept in as I forgot to set my alarm. Oh well! I also need to hijack tonight, so I may pick up a bottle of Proraso As.
Careful with that Murrays if you have not already tried it hahaha itll rock your world man....I had unruly hair that did not want to slick back so I had to be generous with this stuff.....but its not so generous washing out..... I was taking showers 2 times a day for almost a week trying to wash it all out.... I suggest ....Hawleywoods Layrite Pomade....best stuff I ever tried!
Wow, that's a beaut! I love them old razors. Are there still blades available that you can use? I'm curious as to how she performs. BTW and entirely off topic: is a razor female or male?
The blades are the same as the current injector blades, but they load as a set of stand alone blades in the razor (no injector cartridge / key mechanism). No, I have not and more than likely do not plan to use it. As to gender of razor. Depends upon some things: 1. What type of razor it is looks wise? 2. How does it shave, smooth and sweet, or rough and tough? 3. Are you a "Romanticist" when it comes to equipment? (It is somewhat like an old sea captains view their ships or how Scotty on Star Trek views the Enterprise) Most razors in my opinion are considered a "female" and that is based on question #3 above. Yes, I do have a couple of razors that are "male" based on question #2 above (rough and tough).
Well, as I'm a romanticist as well as a sailor (and learned to sail from an old school sailor) I guess I'll stick to considering them female. Thanks!
Well it can't be called "The Dridecker" as that one is spoken for! Hopefully we'll see some pics of it soon!
