The Haul: June 2017

I hauled my order from the shave den
Iced yin yan, lavender and lime
Iced Florida Water

Menthol crystals

The iced Florida Water is spot on
Yin yan is a very different aroma, interesting. Can't wait to try it.

 

Slightly used, but looks to be no more than a few times. I was familiar with the scent of Piacenza, but took a risk on the Reef Point. I like the scent! This will be my first Reef Point soap or splash.

 

Awesome surprise at the mail box today. JR200 showed up and the band badger, green/black color and the JR 200 base medallion made by Twhite in the Jayaruh brush...makes me happy

That is an awesome brush! Great stuff from @Jayaruh and @twhite. Further proof that TSD is a terrific place.

 

The Reef Point had a great scent, quality lather, but sadly lit my face up. Hope you have better luck Perry.

So the mail man had two packages for me today. The first had a G2 Fat Boy with case and a tuck of Derby Extra blades. I like Derby Extra's so that is a plus(I also like Arko). The second box came from @LKLive13 via the Bay. A very nice looking Schick E3. No I will not be putting this one through the ultrasonic cleaner. After the past month of 30DC shaving with mostly, now my sons G1 Schick Injector, I have bought another one today. That will be on next months Haul thread. You guys are a great bunch of enablers.

My last haul for June

The scuttle is a Crabtree and Evelyn. The Antique shop I went to had it for $45 but the dealer said if I paid cash it she'll take $20. It included the used boar, so I said ok. Not bad. I'm sure they go for less, but it's my first scuttle!

 

Very nice! Did you polish it, or did it arrive looking brand new?
