Wandered through a favorite spot today and found something new. (well, new to me )

Nice little Old Spice Early American Glass Mug 01
for the grand sum of $1.08 after tax. Hope I didn't break the bank on this one. The nice thing about OS mugs is SWMBO has lost track of the count on them.

 

Went by to several antique stores. Great finds

You should head to Mary's Antiques on South Elm Street. She has a lot in her store but even more in her warehouse! A lot of mugs, straights, traveling sets, and still a few Gillette sets.

 

I'll have to head back there. Last time I was in there was only some Autostrop's and that wasn't what I was looking for.

Here is another item that came in a group buy.
She has a few slight nicks but that is from normal wear and tear.

It was a good day for treasure hunting at the Flea Market , and the shave Gods delivered:
*An Old Spice mug, it was a good thing that I found another one as I have a puck of tabac that needs a home. All my old spice mugs are currently occupied. So it was my lucky day. Otherwise, the tabac would have been sitting in it's box for a year.
*Mennen Hard hat decanter, full of that classic skin bracer. I splashed it on heavy at the flea market, had to make sure it was legit. It might have been on a little strong as women were staring and children were pinching their noses, and the unshaven men were clearly envious. Yep, it's the real deal.
*Finally a heavily tarnished and dirty W&B with broken scales. It looked like junk to many, as hundreds had already passed it by, but what I saw was a beautiful blade with minimal hone wear and a whopping 5 dollar price tag. The seller told me to make an offer. I smiled and handed her a 5.

Today was my first shave score in a long time at this flea market, but it was well worth the wait.

 

Great hauls Nicktheswede and newb. I like all of your other stuff too but what I'm finding myself more drawn to lately is the interesting decanter.

I already have one of DEcanters and it is probably the favorite shave item I have. The thing is just cool. I would have bouth that hard hat full of Skin Bracer in a second too. Thanks for posting
