Yup, all my Peterson have fishtails. The only one I don’t use anymore is my Churchwarden. My Spigot uses a filter, this Silver Cap 107 don't. And yes, she's a beauty. :D

That is a mighty nice pipe! Congrats on a sweet haul!

Personally I have fled the field and left the city for the countryhouse one day ahead of the rest of the family. Sitting here with my MacBook (mmmm...), my dog and a nice beer (Brakspear Oxford Gold).

I went by my local tobacconist and got some cigars to get started with, dunno if it's anything good:

    The Griffin's
    Zino Classic
    Avo Maduro

I just went to him and explained that I like pipesmoking and what kind of tobaccos I prefer and he suggested these. I'll try one tonight :p

(Forgot my camera at home so I can't provide any pics of the cigars :( )

Im not using this stuff everyday. offcourse before and after training . and only when I dont have the time to make a big quick breakfast/meal .

Sweet hauls, folks. I got the TSD grab box this week, and a 12K Chinese waterstone from Woodcraft like this one.

I can never find the Peterson's that Yukio has. They are absolutely stunning. I like the Black and Silver pipes

Created by Mr. Blos of Shavemac:

21mm super stuffed Silvertip / 60mm loft / Flat top
It is a blend of the 2 brushes I have coveted for awhile now : Rooney Emillion and Shavemaster S100
    ...................I am NOT disappointed !!

Kent BK4.......Shavemac Custom......Simpsons Super CH1.............Rooney Super Small 3/1 in horn

Man, Rick, I LIKE that!!! Looks a lot like the Emillion...at 1/3 off!! Excellent! Wanna bet Steve will be right behind you? :)

    It wasnt that cheap......but close.
I had to get the engraving, ya know. ;)

Its been killing me that I didnt get in on the Padron special and Ive been wanting a Shavemac for awhile.
So I thought I could create something that had characteristics of all the brushes I was interested in.
It really is a great brush and I cant say enough about Mr. Blos' patience and service.

I thought you said it was $100. Emillion is $150+. Guess I misread.

Oh, and your initials are upside down.

    :D

    Yep. You are correct, sir.
That was the cost of the brush.
Shipping from Germany and my engraving kicked it up $25.
Well worth it. Shipped on the 18th and I got it yesterday.
I cant imagine the Rooney is any better than this.

Um, yeah. In fact, I like yours better. Don't care for the bone color or the shape of the Rooney handle. Though I do think I'd prefer the shape of the Emillion knot. I'm sure Bernd could accommodate. :D

Btw, the $150+ price I mentioned was from The Gentleman's Shop. Add shipping to theirs too. Like I said...1/3 off.

Does it have the Shavemac logo on the other side?

Dont dis the flat top.....it is superior in every way ;)
No Shavemac logo upon my request: the stamping machine was OOS and I had to have this before departing on vacation next week.
    Bernd accomodated by shipping ASAP.
    FWIW.....the Rooney, I believe, is a 24mm knot while mine is 21mm.
I wanted the smaller knot with the added loft so it would release some of the lathery goodness down to the tips instead of trapping it in the breech like the super stuffed brushes tend to do.
