Congrats Rick!! That sure is a great looking brush! :drool :drool....I think the order link is still active if you decide you want a 2007 Group brush too. Congrats!!
Bugger off, nothing to see here A NOS 8/8 Henckels Friodur - spanish point - worked back - faux mother of pearl scales my Henckels Friodur 7/8 for comparison purposes
Yeah, I know, they're the worst razors money can buy. There's a 70% chance of contracting scurvy when you shave with one of those. Send 'em all my way, I'll dispose of 'em for you.
sweeeeet, Thomas! I once had one just like that. Then my uncle wanted to have it for his stereo and a guy he knew told him it was beyond repair. I found it strage as I remember it working perfectly... May it give you many hours of fine music!
Now that's a brush that is my style right there. I'm going to have to break the Simpsons streak and get in to touch with Bloss about a custom job.
You wont be soory His work is fabu and the faux ivory is the nicest I have. Heavy and has a great feel that is hard to describe: not slippery- but tacky, in a way and it doesnt look like plastic.
Wow! Great hauls guys Nice razors Klaus and Telly :drool :drool Sweet turntable Thomas! I got a few tubs of Coates Limes today
That is a very nice razor! It is NOS? I don't see honing striations. As for the Tosuke razors, I purchased those for 3 members on B&B. My Tosuke is enroute from Japan.
Yeah, I've been wanting to get one of those Filarmonicas for a long time but the prizes are crazy - 250$ and more for a NOS one like the one I got. Finally I found one in a small shop in Spain that had some left in stock. Sometimes you just have to be lucky It honed up really great too, took a fantastic edge. How much do those Tosukes go for these days?
I got these three for $140 each and that includes PayPal fees, shipping, taxes, etc. I bought them two weeks ago. They're going up in price though so they might be more now.
it's from a while ago, but I finally got around to taking a picture; here's my TSD sampler collection
