That looks like you can pull the blade from that and put some modern blade in. It is a sturdy looking blade housing.

Make sure to document it. We can start to resurrect these works of art. Now I need to find that model.

Just edited my post, it's Model 3. Standard injector blade is slightly wider and appears thicker than the Dehaven.

My new Vie-Long American style white horse hair brush. 21mm knot. Until its broken in it smells like the south end of a north bound horse...on a hot day.

 

Yes my stock blade is 1.550 and the injector is 1.500. It will not matter. As for the thickness both of my blades are .010 thick.

If the injector is thicker. That might be a good thing if you can use it. It will hold in better.

The most important thing is that the blades height be the same. That will determine the blade exposure.

Two more brushes arrived today to keep me busy. An Ever-Ready #1 (guessing that) and a Hardright. The Hardright will be one that will need some extra work. It has a kind of beat up rim on the ferrule and I'm not sure if the wood is really dirty after years of use or just painted black. Looks more like an old paint brush for a knot.
Edit: Noticed this after posting, there is no white in the lettering of the Ever-Ready, just the sun coming through the window making it appear there is.
Edit: These two brushes have larger knots than what I have, so I'll have to order them.
