Bought this Penn set. I have no idea what the rod is for or if even belongs 20171031_214646-756x1008.jpg 20171031_214723-756x1008.jpg 20171031_214732-756x1008.jpg , but the razor seemed neat. Have not cleaned ot or looked at blades yet but they are smaller than my DE blades.

I saw on crags list some men's Avon. She came out with three big buckets of Avon goodness ... didn't even dicker on price, gave her the money and they came home with me.

    Sadly these were empty ...
    IMG_0836.JPG

Happily these were full or nearly full.
    IMG_0837.JPG

Two on the top shelf are vintage Old Spice and the rest are Avon ... all for $20. :happy093:

My wife was sitting in the car when I came out with the buckets and said "Whats all that". I just told her "Good stuff".:D

The gibbs brush looks awesome but there was a crack in the handle. It is a 2 piece and it’s super light. The blades are nos and be tech is appears to be 2 different metals.

From a flea market - Three vintage glass bottles. All have threaded spouts with molded in restrictions.
Not pictured a Wildroot Hair Tonic that needs further cleaning.
On the left; Houbigant Perfume from the 1930's. The cap was missing, but I had one that fits. The name is molded into the bottom of the bottle.
On the right; an unknown, five horizontal ribs or bubbles and a rectangular flat spot for the label. The cap was intact, undamaged. It's quite distinctive and I suspect someone will recognize the shape.

If the rod belongs, I'm going to guess maybe it's to be used for stropping blades. But I could be wrong; I was wrong once earlier this year.

That was my guess as well.

I wish I was only wrong once a year or so, unfortunately I have a much higher frequency....

Had to bring a Kriss Kross stropper home to St. Louis. This one is in exceptional shape and I got it cheap. I may give an old Gillette Blue Blade a spin on it at some point. Otherwise it's just a cool piece of shaving history made in the Lou.

IMG_10.jpg This arrived yesterday and I like it! A real jewel of a razor. The guy did a bang up job restoring the blade and the scales are a beautiful laminate. A blend of new and old.

Paladin number 2 for me. Ken's ivory is beautiful, and photos never show it. This one is a 2CSLE and it joins my 2CSLD Falstaff. They are my favorite brushes right now.

Well, the Left-handed Tech came in. As it turns out, the base was in backwards, so it is really just a right-handed tech after all. The case is in pretty good shape except for a little wear on the top. The razor is an F1. There was a Gillette Blue Blade Z4 and three Star blades in the Tuck.
