    This beautiful British Rocket HD 500 arrived today. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

    BTW what is a monoblock?

    Delivered today, fresh from the bay, a bargain indeed.

    I'd read a lot of favourable reports. The scent being one of the first I've encountered.

    Second delivery today:
    On the Bay a few days ago, I saw this cased Schick beauty for a remarkably low starting price. Especially with the added Schick Chick blades. Lucky being the only bidder.
    I knew it was a Canadian E, but not which version.
    As it's arrived today I've now identified it as an E3, 5th variant. What really attracted me was the handle markings. I'm really rather chuffed.

    New toy for Nov 2024, couldn't resist

    Case is worn, the razor is in much better condition, quick soak and toothbrush, ready to go

    1958 No 66 if I am not mistaken 73.5 grams

    Might keep the razor for a better box I have that came with a messed-with razor from another internet purchase

    Will probably just get rid of this box

    awesome Chris.keep the box for parts..they are always going up in price...the interior bits look pretty good..others may contact you..;)

    I have to do a little digging. I know I've got some vintage Gillette blades but I don't know if I have any Spoilers

    The French market version of your razor. Came in a yellow case, and the twist knob is the same size as the handle, not slightly oversized like the British market razors.
    It's a very nice old fashioned cologne scent. My brother-in-law likes Mogno. I like Musgo's scent better, but I'm a fan of mossy type scents.

    Both are a refreshing change from the fruity and floral scents that seem to be the mainstay these days.
