Decided to update my Gillette Slim Adjustable. The one I've been using is kind of beat up and the blade - saftey bar space is a little crooked. My first one is a K1 this one is a K4.

 

That's a nice one, James! Looks new!

OMG! What a beauty! Joe must be pretty busy. He's putting out quite a number of great razors lately! This one is fantastic! Congrats!

 

Not quite a razor, but I think, a fountain pen is the optimal tool for the task just like a straight. Last week I found a gentleman online who turns wooden pens. This one is made of zebra wood. I just had to have it! The best pen I ever owned! The way it glides over the paper and its ergonomics makes it a joy to use. Besides, I find it very pretty. YMMV of course.

 

That's the strangest zebrawood I have ever seen. Mine usually ends up with a much wider grain pattern and streaks of black. Perhaps I've just been using a very specific breed of zebrawood.

Glad to see the kit the creator used had a good nib with it. That's really the best part of a fountain pen, a nice smooth nib like you said you have.

Pen making is a really fun art.

Do paperback novels qualify for haul listings? I get a paperback book haul now and then.

 

Beautiful pipe, Yukio! Makes me remember the "good old times" when I dared to enjoy a good pipe. Too bad they didn't invent a safe way to do so, - yet.
