Picked up a mostly full bottle of Lournay Moment of Truth aftershave for $1. It's past it's freshness date but it will find a place in my aftershave museum. Also picked up an American Glass Late 02 ('64-'78) Old Spice mug for $6.50. I didn't need it and it was over my five dollar limit but I would have felt a little sheepish only buying the one dollar A/S.
Lol! Sheepish or cheapish? I land up doing the same too sometimes just to support the local businesses.
Friday’s mail call is from Etsy shop, SHORE SHAVE; it’s their Big Ball Barber style brush with 26mm synthetic Motherload knot.
Saturday’s mail call is from Pasteur Pharmacy; today I got LPL Narcisse shave soap and aftershave. The cap of the aftershave was dented when I opened my package; I contacted the company about it.
Picked up a decent user grade FatBoy (F2) for $18. The paint is gone from the numbers and there's a few minor scratches but it's mechanically sound. Looks like someone enjoyed it for many a shave. I didn't need another FatBoy but figured it would make a good donation to the next TSD raffle.
Very nice find...some folk have all the luck, agree with Gary, give it a whorl and let's find out what you think about it!
I'll definitely give it a run before donating it. Visibly it looks straight and the adjuster works correctly.
I'd keep it if it was an F4 (birth year/quarter). I think it's the first F I've picked up. My (current) three keepers are a D, E, and a G.
very cool.my f-2 had the screw, not the clip.they're were multiple assembly lines, some using up old parts and some using new. thank you for sharing.i was curious what yours had. https://gilletteadjustable.com/fatboy/

Monday’s mail call is from The Razor Company; today I got The Goodfellas’ Smile Valynor safety razor.
