Hi Friends,

my newest additions to my den.

Pearl Flexi Adjustable which I bought used from a friend of mine and a Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood Soap. Smells extremely nice.

Hope the soap will perform well because I did not have good experiences with English Soaps in the past. This seems to be a new version which should have stable lather and should not disappear. Let‘s see…Sunday will be the maiden voyage. Wish me luck.

Went away to a state park to enjoy a cabin for a few days found a Rotbart razor in it's case for a very reasonable price at the local antique shop.

That was the first soap I ever bought. And you’re right, the scent is fantastic.
I eventually gave it away because my water is too hard and it wouldn’t lather for me.
Hope it works for you.

I got a couple soaps / creams from Scott at Captains Choice and a couple of A.S. too.. They smell great. I haven't had a chance to take a picture OR use them yet as we are still recovering from Hurricane Helene and I have been sick also.. It was a nice surprise to get those and on my birthday yesterday .. Oh and I also got some random variety DE blades and a mighty midget omega brush ( the thing is so small , its adorable ! ) and a DSC T4 colorful brush ( the red and grey /silver and black one ) and a Pearl Shaving " The Sleek "razor and a ARKO shave stick.... I was Very appreciative / happy , which I had not been recently since the hurricane. I mean I was happy we ( my family and I ) survived Helene as well as my neighbors did too.. Well have a great night to all..

 

Just got my Gillette model no66 Coronation set in the mail today. It even came with the cardboard box it was packaged in. This razor was made to celebrate the crowning of Queen Elizabeth in 1953.

 

awesome set..if that dented lower trim bothers you those 66 cases come up pretty often in rough shape with usable parts.the case bottom will straighten.

 

It doesn’t bother me at all. I’m just happy to have it.

I hope you all are doing well. Here is my contribution to this thread with an order I just got in the mail from The Razor Company. I got this 3D printed shaving bowl, an Omega Boar Bristle brush, and a few sticks of Arko shaving soap. Cannot wait to give this brush a try. Hope it is better than this cheap synthetic Gillette one I bought for only a few bucks when I was just getting into wet shaving.

Generally Omega boar brushes will out last you and get better and better with use.

 

I certainly am glad to hear this. I shaved with it this morning and it was worlds better than my other brush.

 

The center brush is a Rooney ..... the one on the left is a Simpson.

Yesterday’s delivery came from The Razor Company, and is going to be a birthday gift for me by myself in about a month and a half from now. I got St James Of London Black Pepper & Lime shaving cream and cologne.

 

I know it looks like a bucket of snot, but pretty stoked to get it for $10.



I know the motor is not original, but the pump may be from the military. Even if it's not I'm like a kid with Legos.
