I go to auctions and collectible stores and look for powder jars, etc. When I find them cheap, I clean them and then mill or melt my favorite soaps in them. Looks awesome. That is a vintage silver plated dresser powder jar. 3.99 in an antique mall in Iowa. The hammered metal tray and bowl is from Target, one for me and one right next to it for SWMBO. I use the bowl for my lather bowl. If you look close you can see the L'Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil on her tray, I steal some when she is not looking.
I thought of getting these sets (one and two) but they're too expensive. I'll start visiting antique store and estate sales.

That is the way to do it - especially in NY - I had great luck at the estate sales in Upstate NY when I lived there. The tray and bowl was cheap - and gives the same look. Good Luck
