I ordered some stuff for my son - a complete PAA Rabid Banana set with shave soap, star jelly, cube w/base, and even a t shirt. It is his favorite scent and it is really good stuff. To get free shipping I picked up a few thing for me. 3 shampoo containers and a Meta Nectar AS. The surprising thing is that PAA is now shipping their AS' in nice boxes. I just received an order last week and it did not ship with the box. It is rather classy and a nice touch. First the cool new glass bottles with the bakelite caps and built in restrictors, now boxes. Doug recommended the Meta Nectar as a good match with the Rabid Banana Star Jelly so I tried it. We'll see.

I needed some audio equipment (preferably vintage) and found a young man begging to get rid of his fathers "old junk".

I only wanted a receiver / amp and got enough stuff I needed my son to help carry it. Boy $20 bucks really does go a long way!

Nice! I saw an ad for the Pineapple Bay Rum from PAA and thought that sounded fantastic. Let us know what you think!

 

Thanks Perry, I've been sniffing the tub all morning. The Bay Rum is sorta muted and in the background with the pineapple leading the way. To be honest is sorta smells like Juicy Fruit gum. I'll have to see if the scent changes when lathered. I put some of the AS on my wrist and I'm getting a lot more of the Bay Rum.

A exciting stone from the wild. A French La Lune "only for good razors". It measures a comfortable in the hand 5 x 2.5 inches. The surface, even scuffed and scratched, has a waxy-glossy almost burnished feel to it. This is, IMHO, a rare stone to find in the wild and I look forward to using to finish.

It use to be in my rotation.

 

I like the looks and feel of the Sticky. Just have to wait til SEptember is over before I can use it, with a Wilkinson blade of course.

My Schick O Clone arrived today. It will go to work Monday. I loaded it with a Schick Proline 20. It was not a friendly load. The key stuck half way in and was very tight. I eventually got a good load though. Looking forward to Monday.
