Thank you sir. I mostly use SR but when in a rush I use a 2011 R41. It is loaded with a P-74 that has been in since January and still feels like new

Despite persistent rumors, current Williams shave soap does lather. I stopped by Fred's and saw a dozen on the shelf. At less than a buck per puck it was worth satisfying my curiosity. Not molested by adding other products, but it was bloomed for ease of loading.

 

Not shave related ... boy it's getting to be a habit for me ...

More than slightly ugly, but I see the diamond in the rough.


With a bit of work in the future ...

Totally unnecessary, but I was at ShopRite and noticed that they were clearing out their generic Twin carts (Personna, I think) for $0.99 a pack, so I grabbed two just in case I do a TracII PIF in the future.

It seems like they pulled these and the Gem blades from the shelves a while back. I was surprised how many packs they had, though.

 

The mail came very late today, but hey, it was a day early. Just arrived from Hong Kong: The Alpha T-400 and an assortment of knots. Thanks, Steve. I am so excited. Great job on this brush. I am going to do a test lathering tonight. I will be using it starting next Monday. I can hardly wait.

 

I ordered a 23 mm Envy White Supreme Two-band fan shaped knot for my B-400 by Tom aluminum handle. I set the knot at a 54 mm.

@cliffb599 - Is it a purpose built shave bowl? I get the lid, inner bowl, and outer bowl. Can it be used like a scuttle?

 

It's been a big week.

First, the Ever Ready natural angle razor. Basically a British featherweight. Looks new, in the box, with case, blade holder and 4 blades.


An ebarbershop injector.


A Czech boar brush.


And a Thäter 4292/4 two band fan.

 

i have a red bowl with soap puck never used...coool stuff, love the razor...

For my son's birthday ...


He was telling me how much he liked the Stirling Bay Rum shaving balm I got him for Christmas last year.

 

A few things arrived today. From @Enrico, a Jayaruh #112 handle and two brushes for restoration, a Strong Set and one with the name worn off. Some blades from @Linuxguile, Personna PTFE and Gem stainless SE.
