Very nice week for me! Actually several things are from before last week, but I never got around to posting them.

Sweetheart and Joy, our newest family members. Joy, the white one, is a special needs guinea pig, she has a permanent head tilt and a brain tumor:

My C Type injector that includes all the goodies with the box.

Menthol scent My Time Bath and Body cream soap, tallow based and 10/10 on Jeans menthol scale. This stuff is sooo cold!:freezing

From Krissy, one of our newest members and one heck of a nice gal! Prairie Creations Golden Aftershave Balm in a mentholated Lime and an awesome smelling puck of Almond tallow soap. This showed up as I was shaving today, but I did get to use the balm, and it was awesome! Just look at all the good stuff in there. Thanks Krissy!

And last but by no means least, my order from JoAnna arrived today! My beloved Iced SubZero Wheat cream, 4711 Type A/S with allantoin, Angel type A/S milk for my daughter, Sharp brand blades, Blue bird brand blades, and 3 of the nice shaving Dorco razors. A replacement for the one my oldest son broke, one to be mailed off, and an extra spare. Thanks JoAnna!

    Whew! That is all... :D

  19. Hiya,

I picked up a few things recently, one of them being Colleen's new 'Leatherneck' Extrait. For now, I will just say it's luscious....maybe review it later on.

Heh, I have an irritating habit of buying straights if the price is right and they're in good shape. As a result, I have 6-7 laying around..none of which I will probably ever use. I do have a shave ready one sent to me by Mastermute)Johann) a while ago, and would try that first if any.

The one I now acquired somehow is a Globusman-Gold (6/8 and no idea what grind) with some kinda white scales in good shape. I bought it cause it's kinda purty and wasn't pricey...........sheesh.

Oh, I also now own a Tumi letter pad. It's good sized, and holds a legal size writing tablet. This is a glazed calfskin version in cognac color. It just happened to be available for an excellent price, and I'll give this to my son for Christmas. This thing is is pretty darn handsome.

Crap, sorry I can't take any pics. I know words just aren't the same as seeing the actual items, but that's the breaks.

All in all, not a bad couple of days,

    Martin

Decided to re-visit one of the local antique stores yesterday.
Besides the 2 items I just put up in the Classifieds,
I also couldn't help but bring this home.

Probably can't tell from the pic, but the bottom shelf is divided
into sections for "shaving brush", "Herbal shave soap",
"Original shave soap", and "Musk shave soap".
