Lockdown leads me to 2 conflicting feelings-it’s nice to unplug from work because I almost never can: and at the same time I’m so used to going and doing, that’s it’s disconcerting.
Figure it's ok so far. Just as long as I don't have to go through 'decontamination' before going into the grocery store..
I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but I'm really enjoying it. I get to spend some quality time with my lovely wife in our quiet home where I don't have to fight traffic for two hours every day to get to a lousey cramped office. In the evenings we go out for a walk, and enjoy a good dinner. I'm also saving a ton of money on gasoline and fast food lunches, which is only partly offset by higher grocery and heating bills. So, yeah, life is good.
Ok I just found out from an American senator that proper physical distancing requires to be apart at the distance equivalent to a moose..give or take. Now this is starting to make sense. I can understand that..the distance of a Canadian. Ya that makes sense now..
I like having some more time with the hubby. I am getting a lot of sewing done. But I can’t visit my mom and I really miss in-person contact with friends.
Well.. @Erik Redd seems to be OK with the whole quarantine thing. I don't think that's moose-length distancing tho.
