I worked with a fellow from Belarus for a couple of years. Yuri taught me a number of word and phrases, but not language I could use in polite company. I have several soaps from your list and it seems to me that dr Harris may be the dryest one of them followed by Art of shaving pucks. The Williams, MWF and tabac are dry but not as dry. Another real dry one that I have is vintage old spice..

DR Harris, as others have mentioned, is a triple-milled soap. It is quite hard. I have not seen anyone mention Saponificio Varesino. It is on the pricey side, but it is also triple milled, quite hard, and an outstanding performer.

I've scraped, grated, and rolled out or hand pressed samples of over 25 different shaving soaps and the hardest I've used by far was Mitchell's Wool Fat. Grating out a 10g sample from my unused puck took nearly 20 minutes, and then it took drops of water, hand warming to soften AND repeated compression with a rubber mallet in order to re-form it into the desired shape. Yeah Tabac is hard too, but it was a breeze in comparison! Williams, too easy!
