My wife went to ikea (because she knows I hate that store very much) and got me this nifty accordion mirror for five bucks! Mrs. badger is so kind. It's very sturdy, and is made out of stainless steel. One side of the mirror produces normal image and the other side magnifies. Mount this puppy on your wall and you have an awesome shaving mirror. When your done just fold it up against your wall. I love this thing. Thank you Ashley.

I find that the mirror makes shaving so much easier on my back! (No more leaning forward over the sink). I wound up having to 'bronze' my extension mirror to get it to 'fit' the decor. This is a natural result of sharing one's 'den' with SWMBO. My mirror set up

SWMBO calls these mirrors evil. She will go out of her way to avoid looking into one because of the magnification side. She may be a bit vain, who knows?
You can mount these anywhere on the wall—preferably into wood, not drywall. Once mounted to the wall, you can pull the mirror out a comfortable distance for shaving. The height is also adjustable. I love using mine as I don't have to lean forward over the sink to shave 'close-up.' The mirror fully extends out about 18"(.45m) from the wall when in use; one side is a standard mirror, the reverse side is 7 or 8x magnification mirror (scary close!). When finished using it, the mirror slides back against the wall, out of the way.
