Last show for Bob Barker :(

I watched it today, it was one of the best I have ever seen. I love this show and I was real sad to hear Rob Roudy died and now Bob is going away.

Yep. I took my lunch from 11:00am to 12:00pm yesterday, and watched his last show at work in the lunch room. A cultural icon, and one of the staples of my youth is now retired. I remember watching Price Is Right every day before I started Kindergarten, and every day I was sick/playing hooky/etc.

Thanks for the great times Bob. I've always been fascinated how that show (and Bob Barker specifically) seemed to transcend all other pop culture fads and maintain the appeal across 35 years of changes. Young people, older people... didn't seem to matter... they all love Bob.

I wouldn't want to be the person trying to fill THOSE shoes when the show beging taping again in the Fall.

A true TV icon. Watched his show many times in my youth. It was fun to play along. Great game show for the ages. We'll miss you Bob. :(

Right! It was bad enough when Mr. Hooper passed and then the fake news report-
Big Bird Killed In "Angel Dust" Rampage

    8:47am

The Professor and his assistant, Beaker, muppet chemists, have reportedly found angel dust in Big Bird's feed. Big Bird was killed by police early this morning after the bird went on a killing spree on Sesame Street. Maria, taken hostage during the ordeal, had survived unharmed. Three muppets were killed by the bird: Prairie Dawn (a friendly, pig-tailed muppet girl-child), Oscar the Grouch (a green garbage can dwelling grumpy muppet) and Bert (the famous gay paper-clip collector and pigeon friend). Authorities in the area report that the bad seed was purchased at the local Hooper's.
