In case people missed the post, here is my brush Rodd made for me.

    The wood is bubinga.

I haven't received it yet, but Rodd said it was mailed Friday. So hopefully I'll have it in hand tomorrow.

Brushes don't need stands. You GOTTA have a stand for that!!!!

The wood is bubinga. First time I worked with it, it was great to turn, but it was like drilling and filing through stone. Beautiful wood though.

You will have to post pictures of it in your stand. :)

Hey, any time! Thank you for the soaps and aftershaves!!! My next project to take on is scales, so start thinking what razor might look good in bubinga skins! ;)

Elegant!!! Rodd, congrats on the fine work of craftsmanship. Gets me thinking that you could do a series of brushes based of chess pieces :D

Enjoy the brush, Joanna. It's a work of art!

We are just JoAnna's pawns. ;) I would try to do a knight, but I am pretty sure it would be hard to turn. Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks, I will. The shape of the handle was my idea, but Rodd certainly made it the work of art it is. :1respect

I cannot wait to see pictures of the brush/stand combination...I'm thinking a throne, perhaps?
