The slant-designed DE razor

There have been & are a wide range of slant razors. This design is meant to provide an alternative to the conventional DE razor, and a close competitor to the SE razor as to closeness and comfort in the shave. Here is an unusual one I've found, along with the Fasan -- it's distant cousin.

The head disattaches from the handle with a gentle slide along the metal slot shown here.


Unfortunately the head requires a slightly different blade than those commonly available. But a mod can be made so they can be used.


And it's cousin -- 2nd cousin at least twice removed.

Yes, that plastic razor is just tilted -- not really slanted. But it is slanted in a technical sense -- just not in the twisted sense we are familiar with.

 

Then maybe we should designate between slants and twisted. The Germans would now be called "Twisted Blade".
