I see my order has already left Miami. I think the scents of the two new Glacial soaps may be coming through the package and are choking the postage handlers so they want to move them ASAP! lolll
I guess what I meant to say is, the same effect in that TOF and Eskimo are at the edge of two extremes.
The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap delivered a ton of magnificent lather along with that gorgeous Sharp Dressed Man scent and a freezing sensation which could have flattened a penguin. To add an extra coating of icicles I used the Glacial Unscented balm. That stuff has such perfect soothing and moisturizing.
Out with lunch today with ex wife. Used eskimo soap, SDM balm and splashed SDM aftershave with menthol to finish off. Hot today.....not with this trifecta. Sent from my S8+ using Tapatalk
As a matter of fact I am. The regular version, although I still have enough Glacial MITA for another couple of shaves. I want to wait until my new bowl arrives before I kill off this one.
The MITA (regular version) was so nice this morning. That scent drives me wild and it delivered such great, slick lather. Some guys from another wetshaving group in Greece have asked me about its menthol effect, so I told them it's quite strong but not to the point where it would be unbearable. In all honesty I'd say that it's tied with the Gin & Tonic on the Rocks for being Rod's third coldest soap. The Glacial MITA is another story, however. For those who've never tried it, this one has something like TRIPLE the amount of menthol in it which makes it a true Glacial soap. The scent, lather, and skincare are all the same as the regular version - in other words, perfect.
I forgot to mention that this was my 1st time with any sort off straight razor or shavette. You curious to see how it went Yes, that's my ugly mug lol! Hope you enjoy Happy shaves all! Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
Although I ain't got any issues with my other non-Stirling soaps which are still part of my stash and actually still love them enough to keep them I will NOT go two days in a row with anything that's non-Stirling. So, having said that it's gonna be: The mighty Glacial Obsidian for tomorrow!
You just presented me a challenge....what brand name would I not go two days in a row without. Tough call.
I see the new Glacial Black Cherry soap already has a five star review. When I receive mine I'll use it the next day and tell you all what I think of it. According to the gentleman who has it, the scent and lather are awesome. He also says it's "icy-cool" which I think he meant to say frigid. After all, it's a Glacial soap!
