  2. First, I want to say that Stirling is a great company. I am a relative newcomer to the Stirling customer fan base. I have bought Sandalwood, Piacenza, Coconut Lime, Satsuma, Bay Rum and Glastonbury shave soaps (5.8 oz jars) and the matching 100ml aftershaves. They were 2 separate orders and each one had a free sample. That was a nice touch. My only disappointment is with the Glastonbury scent. It has a clean fragrance similar to fabric softener, but to get the aroma I have to stick my nose in the container with the cover closed on my nose. The lather performs well, but the scent is very faint and almost nonexistent. Every other scent is fine.

  8. You serious! Ok, I am torn now! Lemony Orange was KILLER!!!! But Satsuma is NO slouch either! Why do you do this to us lol
  9. Thank you so much. It was such a cool experience and I am so proud of y wife. She really has come a long way

  10. This is VERY strange. My jar of Glastsonbury might be my strongest scented Stirling soap that I have. Easy 7 maybe an 8. Even the sample I bought was pretty strong. I have found that all of Rod's mutton tallow soaps are pretty strong
  11. Any other Glacials coming out we need to know about? lol

  12. I saw one of your You Tube videos extolling the Glastonbury scent. I thought you were nuts! Lol! Seriously, the only explanation is that I have a bad batch or my sniffer doesn't work for this scent. I have to say that I am not the only fella that has not found this scent spectacular! By the way, I invite you to join the 30 DC group on The Shave Den.
  13. Now Rod, while Satsuma is a great scent, it is no replacement for Glacial Lemony Orange! You have a whole bunch of people here that are hooked on it, thanks to Jared!

  14. That's the only new Glacial this year. I need to replace Wintergreen and Spearmint with new scents next year, though.

  17. Great video as always, and congrats to Ms. 0228 for her citizenship. I remember on an Election Day of a few years ago, telling a foreigner who lives in my bldg., "Don't forget to vote today" and she said "I can't, I'm not an American citizen".(I had thought she became one) About the shave, do you find it any easier to load the brush holding the soap from the side? I've never tried that.

  19. I really do like this scent, lol. Even my wife liked it which is always a bonus, haha! YMMV is an understatement in this hobby and I can understand why some don't like it. What's the "30 DC" group? I'll check it out
  20. Thank you very much! My wife is super happy right now hehe. We can't wait for her to a US passport. She hasn't been ab;e to cime with me on some of my trips due to visa restrictions. NO more! lol
I was just holding the soap like that to show on camera lol!
