John Wayne was wearing The Veg during this scene in Rio Bravo with Angie Dickinson.

    Fact.

Never tried the Veg. I love Arko.

I just can't see spending 7-8 bucks plus shipping for something I am statistically unlikely to be willing to try more than once.

:signs011:…and the look; the labeling, the vintage vibe. Cool stuff!

It's just when the nice bottle is opened that it all falls apart.

I've smelled it in a store, and it intrigued me. It does give off the urial puck vibe out of the bottle. I should go back and splash some on to see what it smells like later.....

Maybe you can get it. Doesn't Rod at sterling make custom soaps? You tell him the scent you want and tries to make a soap with that scent.

I guess if having good taste puts you in the minority.....so be it

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

Going to take a leap and try it. I ordered a bottle and it should arrive either tomorrow or Friday. We'll see how it goes with me and SWMBO. She's not the biggest fan of Clubman, but I like it so will be interesting to see if we agree on the veg, either yay or nay.

I hope it works out! Don't worry about the in the bottle smell. Put it on and see what it does for you. I like it in bottle and on the skin, but they're definitely both different scents.

I'm glad to see a "pro" veg thread. I agree with Mr. Shaverman, in the bottle and on the skin are different scents, I love both. I think my user name says where I stand on the topic of the veg. This weekend I'll do the all polarizing product shave.
    -weishi razor.
    -dorco blade
    -arko soap
-and top it all off with a healthy dose of the veg.

I use and like all these products. I do fine with the dorco blades unless I use them exlusively for an extended period of time, but if I alternate blades they're fine.

The main point is the veg is a wonderful thing. My wife who is sensitive to strong scents likes the veg and wonders what all the controversy is about.

    Long live the veg.
