I had my own Wabbit V3 printed locally. I took possession of it today. It took a little filing to get the top to go into the blade and then into the head. I just took my time and finally got it so it goes together nicely with no slop. Magnets are on their way. Once installed, it will be ready to go. I may however give it a go without the magnets.

I am planning on using it for the first pass tomorrow. I will let you know. I am still waiting on magnets. Fortunately, the head fits together snuggly. I believe I can get through one pass with no problem.

I decided to do the right side of my face with the Wabbit and the left with my AutoStrop A1. It was an excellent shave. No issues, even without magnets. I love the Wabbit. It is perfect. I will do a whole week after OCtober. I'm waiting on magnets.

It does have a nice reverberation chamber.

The files needed to print your own Wabbit razor have been released by Tom.

Both the V2 and V3 handles are included, the cap is common to both.

    You will also need:
    Either one pair of rectangular magnets 1/4" x 1/8" x 1/16"
Or one pair of round magnets 3 x 2 mm (untested)
Or two pairs of round magnets 3 x 1.5 mm
Superglue or epoxy adhesive to attach the magnets to the razor
Possibly a small file if the parts won't fit straight out of the printer.
    An injector razor blade.

The files can be downloaded from this page:

I found a local 3D printing shop that's half price of my usual guy.
I wanted to try them out, so I ordered a Wabbit V3 yesterday.
They sent me some pictures today:

$8 delivered to my door. I hope the quality is alright.

Yeah, what Tom said. What material did they use?

So how do you get a printing company to print one for you? Do they really want to print just one, or is there some minimum requirement for a dozen or more?

They happily print just the one.
I just pretended to be in L.A. and the prices they quoted me for one V3 in PLA are (location of the print shop given)

I use - they use a variety of small print shops doing the work for them.
You pick the one you want to go with. They can be good... they can be... not so good...
As always, look at ratings, reviews, pictures etc.
If you find one that's good, stick with them and tell others.
At those prices, I'd be willing to give them a trial order.

This is exactly what we need. You can get a razor printed for under $10 including shipping.
I hope more people will get involved in getting razors designed to be printed.

They would have to be willing to do it for the hobby and not in it for the money. That in itself will severely limit options unfortunately.
