This is one of my little shop secrets. I originally bought one of these a very long time ago with a glass brush instead of a brass brush to clean my files, but this little gem with the brass wire is fantastic for cleaning the jimps on any razor.

Let me know if you get one.

    Great info, Bill!

I use these mini-rotating-brass-wheels for my Dremel at low speeds and they work like a charm - brass wire really is fantastic :)

I have a dremel at school in my lab. I wonder if I could polish up a couple TTOs with the polishing wheel... Or maybe all the nickel will come off.

Order placed. Thank you Bill. I've been wondering what to use for jimps.

from experience, even with the soft cloth like tips on a dremel will destroy the thin coating. If you plan to give it a try, do it with a razor that already has plate loss. I did it with a gold NEW, which had plate loss already, so now it is copper and brass mix.
