Time to eat the crow....

I've said multiple times here that I hate vintage razors. That their shave isn't all that great. That I don't want to shave with something Charles Manson used to shave his pits, because afterall, who knows the history? On and on....

Out of the travel box I grabbed an English aluminum Tech. I was just going to try it out, then put it back in the box and pass it along. I shaved with it last night, enjoyed it. Shaved with it tonight, really enjoyed. I't s a keeper. Good stuff. I think this may be a new favorite.

So, Charles Manson's pits or not, I found a vintage I like. From now on I'll just say that I don't like most vintages

 

Maybe Winston Churchhill shaved with that Tech.

What a coincidence! I used to manscape with an English aluminum Tech because of its gentle demeanor but I passed it on in a travel box recently.

While my preference has always been towards newer razors, the techs, while mild, aren't bad, it's mainly TTO's such as the SS that I don't like. I'll take a 3 piece over a TTO anytime.
