I just went to Tim's Soap website and noticed he had posted a letter on the main page saying they are suspending soap making. Lately we have lost Strop Shoppe, Knockout Shave and now Tim's. http://www.timssoap.com/
Hopefully it is just temporary and not permanent. I used the new Tim's Green Label soap yesterday and I think I like it better than the original formula ( the original is a great soap as well).
I hate to see any artisan not make it. I found tims soaps to be average at best. But they may be great to others.
I really like tims soap ... I have 5 tubs. Hopefully we will see him again in the future if not at least I have enough to last me probably many years.
I know he doesn't do soap full-time. He recently cranked up production and did his full site. I would guess he is slowing down versus done for good.
I'm so on the fence about getting a jar.... I hate seeing an artisan close shop, I hope it's for personal reasons and not because of business.
I don't doubt ....I'm sorry just want you to have this soap before it's gone cause it's great I'm sorry lol
No worries!! no need to apologize. Thank you for the heads up! The site I looked at had only a couple flavors left and Busta was one of them.
If you order some of his soaps I'd recommend doing it straight from his own site as he charges a flat shipping fee of $3(!) dollars as opposed to the $10 for instance you'd pay at Maggard, etc
Does anyone know, why Tim and the other Shops had to close? Seems not normal to me...Sad to hear...Tim's Soap was an absolute Top Notch soap. I will definetly miss it...
