just got my TOBS sandalwood in mail yesterday. had a shave with it that night. right off the bat i really enjoyed the scent. like it more than AOS sandalwood. has only been my 2nd shave cream ive used since i started DE shaving. 1st was proraso menthol cream. I would say they are both very alike. no differences really IMO. the only thing i did notice was after my shave when i put my aqua velva splash on, my face was burning more after using TOBS. maybe because the proraso menthol already has a cooling effect so it prepares your face for the splash?? anyways, i liked the burn!! but overall i really like TOBS and will continue to use
Are you using a pre-shave product? I have used the Proraso Sensitive pre/post and also a home-made oil (formula elsewhere on here). Both work well, but the oil delivers the smoother shave. Just a thought.
