Hi. I just ordered 2 of each of the following blades:

Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharpedge (Yellow) - Russia

Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (Green) - Russia

Feather HI-Stainless - Japan

Supermax Blue Diamond - India

Two questions for you all. 1) what's an american built brand/rendition?

2) where can I get american blades from in the UK?

I'm not sure how each of these blades will perform but I will ensure I keep a shave diary and provide my opinion on each of the blades in both a safety and a Shavette

First batch of blades arrived. Woohoo, looking forward to my shave tonight. Which one shall I use

 

Get the Derby blades out of the way first, then on to the Baili, Shark and Astra.

 

Use the Derbys first, that'll give you a baseline for what shaving with a rusty butter knife is like.

 

Ha ha. I already know what that feels like because I am one of those people that really isn't that impressed with wilkinson sword! Although they do seem to improve on the third shave!
