Ok, here is the deal. What are the top five razors on your list that you want to try that you don't already have? Just dream and then let 'er rip. Qualify your want if you choose to but it is not required. Mine? 1. Merkur Slant 2. Merkur Progress 3. Merkur HD 4. Gillette Fatboy 5. Any Muhle My only concern with all the Merkurs is the possible quality problems, but that is a different thread.
Gillette Regent Tech Gillette Aristocrat Gillette New Improved Gillette Old (Double Ring) Gillette Fat Boy
Don't actually have any intention of buying any of these any time soon. I really think I'm RADded out, for now. But at some time, maybe. . . Rolls Razor Old Star with wedge blade Merkur slant Merkur Progress (already have Gillette adjustables) Gillette Fusion (ducks and runs for cover):shocked002 On that last one, no seriously. It's not that I think they'd be great shavers, but I've never used a cartridge with more than two blades before. At some point I could afford to drop $8 on one with its one or two sample cartridges, and try it for myself. Then most likely, put it in a drawer and never use it again. The others should be fairly self explanatory.
only 5 huh? hmmm ill go with: Gillette President Gillette British Aristocrat Gillette Fatboy Gillette HD Rocket Merkur HD yes i like the fat handled razors
Gillette Toggle Apollo Mikron Gillette Big Fellow Gillette Belmont Gibbs Adjustable (France) I was fortunate to acquire a Rocket, 66, and a Sheraton last year.
Uh, yeah. Think of the crowd we have here. Some of the worlds most knowledgeable people with regard to shaving hang out here. If I didn't limit it to 5 we'd all be in trouble.

My list contains mostly just razors way too expensive for me to buy: - BBS1 - RR Wunderbar Slant - PAA DOC Evolution - ATT Open Comb Slant Then it would be fun to try at some point: - Rolls razor
Nothing too unobtainium, but most out of the range I can afford to buy for the foreseeable future: - Gillette Toggle - Gillette Sheraton/Senator - Late 40's Gillette Aristocrat - British OC Tech - Bakelite Tech
Assuming we're talking about Razors that actually exist... 1930's Aristocrat OC Wolfman .86mm (OC or Straight) Timeless 0.95mm OC scalloped Rocnel & Barbaros Adjustable Charcoal Goods Aggressive ATT H1 or H2 I know, I cheated and listed 6. My unicorn would probably be a stainless steel adjustable with a barber pole handle, open comb, and blade gaps that match the Futur, with blade angles the match the Fatboy.
Based on the fact that all of my vintages are Gillette or Injectors- Cooper Monobilt- they just look so cool Aristocrat OC or one of the other early Gillette OC/TTOs- just don't have one Wolfman OC- Shout out to a fellow Western Canuck Barbasol Floating Head- seems to get some unique reviews and I don't see them for sale very often One of my currents replated by Delta Echo- don't know if this counts 'technically', but I just love the look of the ones I've seen
Hm... 1. That fancy, high-dollar Anglo-American Aristocrat 2. A Senator 3. A President 4. A double-ring, I guess 5. A Gem lather catcher I reckon that's it.
Lots of Fat Boys here. That's surprising... I would like to try a few different slants. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
