Isn't the top cap made of Zamak?

For the price? I would assume yes. Stainless will run you considerably more.
But I find the finish on the Mühles to be top-shelf compared to many other razors in its price range.

I've heard they are great shavers. I've a few Vintage Razors that have Zamak caps, and that doesn't scare me, like it does some. If it were my daily razor, I would think about finding a replacement cap, just in case.

Connaught shaving sells the heads alone, that's where i got mine and pair it with my favorite handles.

For versatility, the Gillette Fat Boy or Slim
For rarity, the Gillette Darwin.

A Gillette Darwin - I've not heard of one of those. I shall Google it.
