So my last couple of business trips, I have needed something shave related. The first one, I cross threaded and stripped the pot metal head of the only DE razor I brought with me. The last one, I forgot shaving soap or cream, and bought a can of barbasol. That was one of the worst shaves I have had in years. @txskimo suggested I put together a shave kit, so I did. Since my suits don’t fit in a carry-on bag, I had plenty of room, but got it all into a small zippered case, except the soap and the strop. Razors: Black Handle Superspeed with blade assortment, Sears Craftsman round point straight, WB Speed 5/8 straight Soap/ Cream: Homestead Ranch Goat Butter Soap (mixed scents), sample of Edwin Jagger Sandalwood Shave cream Brush: Omega Travel Boar Strop: Drygulch Leatherworks Cromexcel Horsehide with Linen Modern strop, 24x3 inches Post Shave: Styptic Pencil, Alum Bar, Thayer’s Witch Hazel, Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue, and The Shave Den Iced Lime Aftershave Milk Shaving will not be an issue on this trip. Would love to see some pictures of other travel kits.

You mean business! Two straights and a DE? I like it. Glad you'll never need advice on the closest place to pick up shaving items while traveling....I felt your pain
Here is the modest shaving gear I took on a recent one week trip. TSD unscented lanolin soap stick Muhle hjm black fiber brush Gillette fat-handled Tech Gillette SharpEdge blades CeraVe facial cleanser CeraVe lotion The razor and blades are safely stored in the soap container, cushioned with some squishy soft plastic. I put a big rubber band around the soap container. The brush goes in a plastic ziploc. If I'm going on a plane, the bottles of cleanser and lotion also go into a ziploc baggie. All these item go with my other stuff into a rather generic cheap little toiletry bag that my wife found somewhere.
