Time for a review on the blade that Batman uses.

Well these blades are one or the other, love em' or hate em'. Seems to be no middle ground.

I love them so much I renamed them the Mottern Blade :D

Anyways, no they do not last long, 3 shaves for me.

They are gentle enough to shave a baby yet sharp enough to shave a yeti.

And for the price only getting 2-3 shaves is still a good deal!

This is truly an antique blade. It requires treatment after each shave or it will rust. Not my idea of a good blade.

    I love these blades.

    They are my traveling standard.

I just use a blade once and when I'm done with it I just throw it away.

Absolutely right: you either love them or hate them...

... and I happen to hate them. I don't know if it was a sampling issue, but not even one out of five made it to my taste. One of the worst blades I have sampled so far. Horrible!

    Decent Blade, bad Rust

I get pretty good shaves with this blade. The only downside is the rust and I don't have alcohol handy to rinse the blade in. For a once and done, I think these work fine.

JayKay 3000 posts and all I got was this lousy title

I've never had a rust issue with these blades nor have I ever treated them with alcohol after use. They are OK, and I'll use them when I run out of the blades I like but they just arent sharp enough for me. Too much tugging.

Everything that isn't treated rusts in Texas.

    Surprising Previous Comments

Received a yellow packaged treet blade as a sampler from Razor and Brush.

Super lathered with col conk, specik and proraso. Inserted blade in a merkur slant.

The blade cut almost as close as a feather and was smoother than a derby. Excellent shave. Very surprising previous comments. Packaging looks different from the blade I used.

For newbies highly recommended. Extremely forgiving.

After a great first shave the second shave was bad razor burn atg in the throat area.

    Stay away.

For the price, I am forced to give a high mark, because I got for nothing, some from these blades. I find they made problems badly for my skin, and I also found they did not have good lasting.

I didn't think this blade was all that bad. Certainly not as sharp as Sharps, my go to blade.

I had no problem with rust. Though I think the black color of the blade would make that a bit difficult to see, but I dunno.

I had no razor burn or irritations from this blade.

JoAnna, my skin is fragile, and very easy to get. To make it worse, my beard is like when I get up in the morning like a man who didn't shave for 3 days, and hard like a wire....

    Aaargh!

Ok they seem to be sharp - a carbon steel blade should in theory have a sharper edge...but left my face sore and did not remove all the stubble. Just don't work for my skin.
