I am having trouble loading picture into my posts cant figure out why though. can anyone help me out with this?
Try this; Gallery link in upper navbar To access the gallery software use the link in the upper navbar of the forum, or click the link below a users post count (link will only exist if the member has pics in the gallery). Uploading pics: From within the gallery click, "Manage MyvBPicGallery". From here you will create a gallery. A gallery can hold one pic, or many, and is there to help you organize your pics. The next 3 lines are places to describe the entry (all 3 lines will go into the upper bar of that gallery). After adding this info, click submit. Below the text window, you see the browse button to actually upload the pics. This software will accept ANY size pic, and automatically scale it to fit within the limits of the forum (set pretty generously) if needed. After selecting the photo, it's uploaded and converted (if needed), which may take a couple seconds (it doesn't tell you it's doing anything, just wait, the pic will pop up)depending on the pic and your connection speed to complete. You can add multiple pics at one time. Once done click submit (below the text box) Linking pics: Once uploaded, they can be linked to any thread/post in the forum without having to upload them again. When viewing the pic from within a gallery, you get a sample and a thumbnail. If you click the link under "full size image pages", it brings up the full size pic, and lists the code to link it to a post (You can use either code within the forum, but only the lower will work outside the forum. Then just copy and paste it in)
Well to be honest, I just copied and pasted Bobby's post from the sticky in this forum, about TSD Features.
Every time i try to load a pic it either as a red X or it says file failed to load, last night i was able to post a few pics but today they are red xs http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3137&page=2 as seen in my post here my gallery loads them as xs
That sounds fine. But......Just as an idea, maybe try shrinking the size with your photo program and see if that works.
ok so it seems that anything > 2mb will not load only problem now is i have no idea how to chane the size
Ha Finally Figured it all out. Indeed my pics were too big had to resize them all in order to upload them all Thanks for all of the help you all gave!!!happy023
