Sometimes I think basic is all I need. Actually got a DFS out of it. Which is good enough for me on a work day. This is basically a shave like my father has been doing, since I can remember. But I think I'm using a little better overall set up. His shave routine is a cartridge razor, Barbersol in the can and a splash of Skin Bracer. Nothing fancy In some ways I admire that he has never veered away from it. I guess I did a basic shave when I had my electric for 20+ years. But don't think I can do it now days, since I've discovered wet shaving and forums like this one.
Thursday and I needed a shave. So did one of my favorite shave combos. From what I can tell the parent company, Norlag makes more baby and female products than they do men's. This particular kolonya was dirt cheap sitting next to the Tabac A/S, ASB, and EdC in a local grocery store here. The kolonya itself is a super sweet tobacco that is stronger smelling than most Turkish Kolonyas I have tried, but not Arko AS/EdC strong. It feels good on the head and does help cool you off during these hot months.
