Tuxedo or Cashmere?

    Thanks for sharing this information. I love the way that the Tuxedo knot looks but that Cashmere sounds like it would be a better fit for me. I like soft tips but also more splay and less backbone.

    Okay in the spirit of Halloween how about a little thread necromancy.

    The story - Real life interfered before I completed this Dubl Duck M-3 restoration. Then I moved 900-ish miles and this handle and knot were packed away with various shop odds and ends (glues, tapes, etc.) I recently found this handle and remembered this project. Polished with Mothers Mag polish and set the knot. The result

    Used a handful of times now and I've got to say I like the tuxedo knot a lot.

    Thanks guys. Even though there are a couple of dings (character) I'm happy with the way it turned out.

    Hollow with a wood shelf beneath the old knot. I kept the wood and added a couple of nickels for weight/balance.

    Does the handle separate from top, like a Rubberset 400?
