As far as I can come up with, they were made by Gillette? What I'd like to know is do two blades eject simultaneously?

Twinjector blades can be tough / expensive to find. As far as I know they have not been produced in quite some time so you would be getting old stock, hence the rarity and price. They are similar to regular injector blades except that you have two cuttings edges one right behind the other on one blade.

You should be able to use regular single edge injector blades with that razor with no problem. But note that you cannot use twinjector blades in regular injector razors.

Interesting. I'd sure like to see one of those blades out of the razor.

You might try searching on eBay or one of the other shaving forums. I did a quick Google search for my earlier post, but couldn't find anything out of the package.

This is just me, but I wouldn't want to get hooked on a consumable wet-shaving product no longer in production. Also, I no longer subscribe to the theory that any more than one blade cuts hair more efficiently.

I just got back from a trip where I brought along a Schick Xtreme 3-bladed disposable. To get a decent shave, I needed to do the same number of passes as with my DE, and it still wasn't as close of a shave.

    Just saying...

And BTW, I bought a type L a few years ago, and still haven't tried it yet!

I have no intention of buying twinjector razor blades, but I'm curious as to what one looks like.

    Fair enough, but...

...we all know how it works. Just curious...hey that looks cool...someone then says how great the shave is...then....

Personna and Schick both made Twin Injector blades as well. I have the Personnas. They look just like Ryan’s picture from the previous post.
    I use them in a Schick I1.
They work just like you would think- two thin injector blades bonded together. I rarely reach for mine.

I'd think they would gunk up pretty quickly and not rinse well.

    I didn't know either.

There is no space between the blades. None. Nada.

... and that is why they don't gunk up. No space for the gunk to go. Easy to clean.

Good grief. A few years ago, they were just over $10 on eBay.
Good blades, but I have plenty of vintage ones. Fantastic in the Schick H1.

You only need one blade, folks.

If hysteresis with 2 blades really cut the whisker below the surface, then there would have been no need for more than 2 blades. So either they lied to us in the 70s, or they lied to us when they introduced 3 blades and more.
