I'd choose the vintage Colgate shaving soap-and this time I'd dive right in, rather than let it sit around and lose it's fragrance.
Wow. There could definitely be well over $3,500 of stuff there, but there also may not be. Strange way to sell the stuff. I'd break it up into smaller lots or sell stuff individually.
That's going to be a tough sell. If the razors that are seen, are representative of everything, then there's a bunch of $20-50 razors in there. Probably enough to justify the sale price, but it's going to be a while before you get your money back out of it.
cool way to jump in to a new collection.i know many who have spent well north of that amount ,one bit at a time..
Make us all proud. Buy them. Shine them up. Post a family photo with the Toggles and Bottom Dials featured in the center.
Maybe. Note the delivery comment - local pickup only. If you live in the area, no problem. For me, even if I could justify that big a purchase, it'd be a six hour drive each way to pick them up. Shavers in the far west, or deep south would need multiple days for the round trip. Canadians wouldn't be allowed over the border this year. That kind of limits his market. So, roughly, where do you live, Primo?
Yeah, too far from me. Although I did do a trip from NY to NC and back again, non stop. But that was years ago when I was younger.
Same here - Rochester to Raleigh to drop off my kid for volunteer work 20 some odd years ago. That took me 12 hours one-way. Today, in my 70s? No way. Rochester to Salem, OH, I could just about manage, but I didn't see anything that would motivate me enough.
I could make it there in about three and half hours, but I’m not in the position to be purchasing that.
