Hello all! They call me Nathan. I'm from the pacific northwest, and have been wetshaving for 7 months. I'm at the point where I'm getting BBS shaves consistently with minimal irritation. My daily shave setup generally involves a GEM G-bar or an open comb micromatic, loaded with a Treet or a walgreens personna. My favorite goo mixture is C&E nomad soap and C&E nomad cream, whipped up on a C&E superbadger brush (black acrylic and nickel handle). My aftershave routine is some combination of pinaud clubman or bay rum(FEEL THE BURN!), nivea sensitive skin, thayer's original or rosewater, C&E nomad ASB, and Trumper's Spanish Leather. If I omit the Pinaud or Trumper's, I follow up with one of my many frags, most of which are samples from the perfumed court, but my favorites are in full bottles (including Eucris, AdG, CdG Vettiveru, and Annick Goutal Encens Flamboyant). Despite what my friends may think, I do have a life outside of shaving. I'm a physics/math major in what is equivalent to my third year (I used to be a chem/physics major, but I dropped chem after I completed the o-chem series). Ii like to enjoy a good pipe of Aurora or a blend from my local briar shoppe called #1. I build scale models, mostly airplanes, but some sailing ships as well. When I have a bit of free time, I like to play good oldschool D&D 3.5, and game on my desktop. I guess that's about all you need to know about me. To be honest, the biggest reason I'm here is that I found the atmosphere at the badger & blade to be quite elitist and snobby. I scrolled down to the bottom of the front page here and saw a dirty joke forum, which is really very telling about the relaxed atmosphere here. You'll be meeting everyone very soon...The Den is a very warm hang where alot of interesting, shave savvy, and generous folks like to frequent, share, get great shave and have fun at the same time...Looks like you understand the importance of enjoying your quality of life, and have great taste in your shave kit...You should find many friends here who have similar tastes and I hope you enjoy your stay....

Do you have any of the discontinued deodorant? I found a store in Portland that had a remainder stock of Nomad deodorant that they had forgotten about it the stock room. I soaked it all up. I reckon I probably control a tenth of the world's nomad deodorant supply I'm quite enjoying my stay here so far. I gave SRP a whirl and it seemed a bit hoighty toighty. You fellas seem like a pretty cool, relaxed bunch. Thanks all for the warm welcome!
