Sometimes its the razor, less often it's the case -- that motivates the purchase of these vintage items. Here's one where the case certainly competes with the razor for coolness & design style. What were they thinking? The great web of shaving? How to eliminate that scruffy spidery feeling? Well -- it is hard to understand the message, but it is unusual. Unique even. And really attractive --especially for its price of around $15...
I could be convinced to do so, but the main items I am parting with were listed in the Classifieds today. Celebrating the upgraded site here.
Yes, the name in the case says: "Grobzig Anh" and there is an umlaut over the "o". So it must have come from Germany. Then a quick wikipedia search & we see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gröbzig -- a former area of north central Germany.
My grandson would love that even though he is a long way from shaving; his mom had to wash his spiderman suit every night for wear the next morning. Then explain to the neighbors that he really did have other clothes and the spidey suit was really washed between wearings. Anyway, nice razor set Jake and thanks for the pictures. Doug
Excellent combination of razor design and case design. They compete, do not conflict, and enhance each other. Very nice!
Man that razor case is sweet! It would be perfect for me. Spiders are my thing (aside from shaving). I have 9 tarantulas as pets. Very cool, and how very odd.
