    okay folks,

How do you feel about used brushes? Shampoo them a couple times and you're good to go?

I ask because I have a brush I don't really use anymore and was wondering if it was something that can be sanitized?

I do not have any problems with purchasing or trading for used brushes. IMHO, give them a lather with a good antiseptic soap and they are good to go.

Same here. I have several vintage brushes with the original knot. I just washed 'em using anti-bacterial hand soap - zero issues.

I have no problem using a used brush. Barbers didn't use a new brush on every customer.

Just lather it a couple times and I believe its good to go.

It depends on the brush really. I have no issues with a gently used brush after a shampooing, on the other hand I've seen some vintage brushes that I wouldn't let near my face without being reknotted.

You're talking about brushes used for soap, right?

    Yeah, no problem.

No problems just shampoo the brush and sanitize with a cleaner.
