This is simply a wonderful shave soap. Very reasonable when it comes to price. It costs very little but it sure delivers. It contains vitamin E and oat extract which really oils up the product nicely. The emollients provide exceptional protection against razor burn and irritation. Excellent for sensitive skin. I find the scent great and it lasts for quite a while. Lathering is not a problem and it lasts right through the shave. My skin feels very moisturized and I have no dry-skin or tight-feeling sensation after completing my shave. In fact, I feel like I did not shave at all. This product is very similar to their other product called Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap. They are quite similar and provide a wonderful shave. It really makes shaving a joy. There is no doubt that I will be using this shave soap for a long, long time.

You are right this is good soap at a bargain price. I picked mine up at Walmart. However I notice they reduced the price to uner $1.00 because they are not selling these products any longer at least at the store I go to..

Ease of lather - fairly easy, but does take a little work to get lather and not suds
Life Span - Last through my shaves, but wouldn't last much longer
Moisture - Fine for me, but I have oily skin. If you need lots of moisture, look elseware
Lubrication - It is slick like most glycerin soaps
Protective - Not overly, but OK.
Scent - Very little, neither pleasant nor offensive
    Price - It's cheap!
I'd only consider buying it again as something to use for "superlather" with a cream that isn't very slick. It adds that extra slickness to Kiss My Face and is how I'm using it now.

good lather, very stable, and fairly nice scent. However, my skin is sensitive to an extreme, and I do not find this soap very comfortable. It is also expensive where I live, so no thanks for the future.

Love this soap, especially because it is easy to blend with other soaps. Just zap it in the microwave with another glycerin soap and you can stretch the more expensive soap.
