Who else has tried this soap and its complementary aftershave splash and deodorant? I bought mine last year finally after years of delays (I had other brands on my list I wanted to try), and it takes me back to when I was a kid and I used to hit The Tinder Box tobacco shop at the mall (it had collectibles such as chess sets and resin statues that I liked). The scents of flavored pipe tobacco reminded me of my grandpa, who liked his wooden pipe. Now, Cavendish is considered the Earl Gray of pipe tobacco and for good reason! But having used PAA's brand of Cavendish-scented fare with its vanilla-coconut tones, Van Yulay's Black Cavendish smells much more like pipe tobacco and although I love both brands, for more authentic tobacco scents, I have to go with Van Yulay.
C'mon, Man! You gotta post a link so we know where to get it. I used to smoke a pipe, and remember Tinderbox well. Always loved the smell.
I remember the Tinderbox well also,even when I wasn't smoking I would just go in and breathe the heavenly aroma. I too have a weakness for a good pipe tobacco scent. Without the ashy smell that some throw in there.
