I found these online and thought I'd share. I do like vintage ads, as they tell you all sorts of things about the thoughts that went into them and the cultures they were designed to appeal to.
Now this was just gross, and frankly, I'm not quite sure I believe there was ever such a product sold to consumers. But it was so bizarre I had to share it.
One persons cheese is another's rotten milk. I've never tried it, I understand horse meat is common in Europe. Those cute guinea pigs Americans keep as pets are food animals in South America. I've personally enjoyed many domesticated rabbits. Once the children understand we're keeping Mom & Dad Bunny, but the kids are for supper ... pass the gravy.
After doing a bit of research it seems the horsefat spread ad may well be a clever Photoshop job. I salute the artist who managed to pull such an authentic-looking fast one.
So is the Professor X one in the first post. My favorite is this one: It really makes me question what exactly is going on. Were other razors that ineffective or is he just suffering from Lycantrophy?
Yup. The brilliant work of one Cris Shapan. Here's an article about him, with more hyterical examples of his work. NSFW https://dangerousminds.net/comments/everything_on_the_internet_is_a_lie_except_for_this
