For those who pick up vintages bottles with AS or cologne in them, do you:
    1. Keep what's in there and use it if it seems OK
    2. Keep what's in there and not use it / keep it as a collectible
    3. Discard what's in there and add something new so you can use the bottle
    4. Other
I recently picked up some vintage Avon pieces, one with pre-electric shave lotion (I don't use an electric razor) and one with hair conditioner that I would not use.

I'm deciding on whether to keep them as is, or discard and re-fill to use them.

The only two aftershaves I've had that were bad are one by Avon and a bottle of Old Spice Leather. Everything else has been fine...faded maybe but usable.

That Avon hair stuff is good. Almost wish I still had enough hair to need it.

I've had really good luck with Vintage Aftershaves.
I have had about 3-4, in about a 6 year period that had turned, and those were inside bottles that looked to be left on a shelf, in the sun, for 50 years. . Those were Shulton Old Spice. The Avon Spicy, and other Avons, never turned.
I have even had one that was supposed to be NOS, but some scammer replaced the good stuff with water.
