Couple of things about the last few razors. The Goodwill 162 is nowhere near as aggressive as an old type, I don't know if I would call it more or less aggressive than the 160 or 175 but it is certainly a distinctly different shave from either.

The Toggle on 9 is one nasty s.o.b. of a shaver, of all the Gillette adjustables I've used thus far on 9 it is the most aggressive though it don't feel like it while shaving. It will bite you something fierce, it has been a long time since I've had a bloodbath shave. The few nicks and weepers are one thing but this one I had blood streaming out of cuts. Good overall shave otherwise. It is one of the closest shaves I've had that isn't a Tom-X in recent memory. Good as it was the 1st gen British Aristocrat Jr still got the underside of the chin closer.

I only have 2 adjustables left to shave with on 9 afterwards, the Fat Boy and a gold Super 109.

Lovely 2 pass shave and I was badly in need of one. Dad is recovering from surgery so I am on watch. My kit lovingly packed by my Bride...

A Toggle on 5 is like an aggressive Rocket, smooth and efficient but aggressive. Good shave but a better shave on the 9 setting which is smooth, efficient and very aggressive. I can see why this razor and most likely the Red Dot Fat Boy since they share the same adjuster design never did take off. I don't think your average shaver of that day would have wanted to use this more than a handful of times before going back to something easier to shave with on the face. I doubt setting this lower is going to change that much which I will find out when I shave with it next at a 2 or 3 setting.

Lovely 2 passer. I know we are in Winter and the snow is flying but I do love the scent of Fall’s Lumberjack or just Lumberjack as it is labelled now. The Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia was a perfect face lathering machine.
