very nice shave sir..
That was bold! I might have to try it. There is a greater likelihood I’ll try a SE first, but you’ve stirred my interest.

awesome sir, cool pic.the slim looks grand..
It's been awhile and thank you sir.. My iPhone takes too large of photos to use on here. (Don't tell me how to adjust the size cuz I won't remember and I'm fairly tech challenged. There's something about the 40's and 50's that suits my face. All blades work for me and most soaps work as well but I favore the Mitchell's, Tabac, TABS (most all) Omega, Lea..

Been awhile since I've used a Gillette but I finally got around to using a Twinjecter.
Gillette Twinjector w/ schick injector blade
If I had to compare this to other Gillette offerings of the same time period, it is a closer and more aggressive shaver than a black handle Super Speed and probably equivalent to a Super 84 or 109 on a 6/7 setting.

New soap today, Sharp Dressed Man by Stirling. So with a scent akin to Creed’s Green Irish Tweed I wanted a razor to match and so the ultra minty 48-50 Gillette Aristocrat was chosen. Lovely razor and a virtual time capsule case and all. Loaded up with a fresh Gillette Platinum blade...of course.
Lovely scent on this SDM and one that has made the short list of fine scents in the den. As with all Stirling’s soap I have the performance is quite good and the scent phenomenal. Lighter in scent than expected but a very nice one indeed. Chubby 2 had no issues and the wall of Badger was a face lathering dream!
Lovely two pass DFS to start the week. So four new soaps in short order reviewed, much more where that came from on the way!
Happy shaves all!

First shave with my newly acquired '46 Aristocrat. It was a satisfactory shave. I need to use this razor more to learn its nuances.
