Great looking brush restoration. That razor isn't too shabby either! And the low-profile '34 is one I ought to keep my eye out for.

Had to take a Gillette thin handle SC for a spin ......



The cap was missing so used a similar spare copper cap I had available. Used a conglomeration of 5 or 6 soap one of which was a suede scent, so smells quite nice.

Thank you, it was very much like my Minora SC.

 

For a razor that works so well, it gets very limited attention. While this worked in my favor as I ended up with the all-important trio(home, travel, and secondary location), it still surprises me that folks have not jumped on board.

 

@brit I used my 1908 single ring with a vintage 3 hole blade. Did I post it here ?

 

My guess is that not all beards/heads reap as much benefit from the more rigid geometry as others like me do, indeed they some may experience it as less forgiving. For me it's much more effective going ATG on my head than the LC or much touted New Deluxe but I'm the only one shaving my head.

Not as smooth as a modern blade but not bad over all. Great feel to the shave.
