Just a reminder why I like these razors. I shaved it with an almost done blade and still banged out a shave as good as more aggressive razors without all the blood and drama. This razor really does punch well above it's weight class.

If there is any difference between a British post war tech and American post war tech sharing the same base plate style I couldn't tell the difference if there was.

Just used my gold fat handle tech for the first time today. Not a bad shave. Smooth.

The Tech isn't a bad razor. I prefer to use a Feather in my prewar. I am not fond of the postwar techs.

F4 Slim adjustable for today's shave. I may just like it more than the Fatboy. KIMG0262.JPG

The 41 Crat by far is the closest shave I've gotten with a razor this month using a blade I am not familiar with which is the Astra Platinum. It either doesn't shave like a 46 - 48 Crat or this blade is throwing me for a loop here. It is not that smooth like the 46 - 48 Crat feel wise, it is more like a Ranger Tech or Regent but it shaves much better overall. I need to revisit this razor with a Bic blade and the other Crat along with a few other razors. The other option is to put an Astra in the 46 - 48 Crat but I am just not getting along well with these blades, I don't know if it is the weather or what, but since I switched over to try out the Astras I've haven't bled and cut myself this much since when I first started DE shaving.
